University of Arkansas – Fort Smith recently issued the following announcement.

Join us on Saturday, June 25th from 6:00-9:00pm for a delicious Low Country Shrimp Boil supporting the Alumni Legacy Scholarship Endowment. This endowment provides annual $1,000 scholarships to deserving legacy students from alumni of Fort Smith Junior College, Westark, and UAFS. Tickets are available through Friday, June 17th. This event is sponsored by Chambers Bank!

Each dinner includes a heaping portion of boiled shrimp, andouille sausage, corn-on-the cob, new potatoes, a side of KJ’s famous Chicken Jambalaya, and beer and wine. Guests with shellfish allergies receive a meal of sausage, corn, and potatoes from a separate cooker along with chicken jambalaya.

With live music, cornhole, drinks, and the best shrimp boil in town – you do not want to miss out!
