Sts. Sabina and Mary Church – Jenny Lind recently issued the following announcement.

Becky VanPool with the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW) came and met with aproximately 70 women on May 25 about establishing a chapter in the West River Valley Deanery (WRVD) which includes 8 parishes. Information collected from the survey reveal 55 women in attendance are interested in a Deanery Wide Women’s group and 45 with Affiliating with NCCW. Five of the eight parishes of the WRVD were represented. (We know some were at Hope Campus that evening.) The majority indicated Tuesday evenings would work best for meeting. Becky VanPool recommends quarterly meetings (Sept, Nov, Feb, & Apr). Tentavily planning the first meeting for Tuesday, September 13 at 5:30pm at Sacred Heart of Mary Parish. Stay tuned for updates. If you are interested and unable to attend the meeting, there will be an email established soon for the chapter to share your contact information.
