Former Greenwood High School player and current Pittsburg State Gorillas utility player, Paxtyn Hayes, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the eighth seeded Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
