Fort Smith was selected by the Department of Air Force for the Foreign Military Sales Pilot Training Center at Ebbing Air National Guard Base. Singapore will have a permanent mission in Fort Smith for F-16 and F-35 training. Poland, Findland, and Switzerland will also be trained on F-35s in Fort Smith. Up to 1,500 military staff and their families across these countries will call Fort smith home.
