We are excited to announce the formation of the West River Valley Deanery Council of Catholic Women. The mission of the council is to support, empower, and educate ALL Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. The council will meet in the Sacred Heart of Mary Parish Center on Tuesday, September 13th at 5:30 p.m. to pray the Rosary and then at 6:00 p.m. for dinner to hear Deacon Tom Jakobs from CTK speak on Living Jesus' Great Commandment. All Catholic women, 18 years of age and older, in the deanery and surrounding area are invited to attend. Dues are $25. RESERVATIONS are required by emailing nccwwestrvd@gmail.com by Friday, September 9th. We will collect donations to support the Heart-to-Heart Pregnancy and Family Care Center. Toddler items needed are boys' clothes sizes 2T/3T, boys' shoes 4-10, girls' shoes sizes 3-8, and socks. The clothing items may be new or gently used from a clean, smoke-free home. Baby items needed are baby food, Gerber formula, baby wash, and baby lotion. Please contact Jacqueline Phillips with any questions (479-651-3647).
