ARKANSAS TECH UNIVERSITY: Getting to Know the ATU Class of 2026: Reagan Farmer

Coverpage effectiveness of corporate training

Arkansas Tech University issued the following announcement on June 14.

Reagan Farmer wasn't sure college was within her reach. Then she learned about the scholarship and financial aid opportunities available at Arkansas Tech University.

“The (ATU) financial aid office was very good at communicating,” said Reagan. “I never felt like I had any unanswered questions. They gave me the specifics and were very in-depth."

With her concerns about paying for college resolved, Reagan was ready to learn more about Arkansas Tech.

"I took a tour, and as soon as I toured, I knew this was the place to go," said Reagan. "I felt so at home. People need to give Tech a chance. I felt more of a personal connection here than any other school."

Reagan, who is from Siloam Springs, will study medical laboratory science at ATU. As she prepares to begin her journey to graduation in fall 2022, Reagan said she is excited about the opportunity to make her family and herself proud.

"I'll be the first person in my family to go to college and accomplish it, so that would be a big honor," said Reagan. "Getting to come here is a dream come true."
