Christ the King Church - Fort Smith issued the following announcement on Mar. 25.
Since there’s no school this week each day we will be posting something from the past year that did not get shared with you all. Sometimes there are just too many fun things happening to share them all!
Back in February Mayor George McGill stopped by while the student council members were making sandwiches to feed the homeless. He commended them on their efforts and then stopped by to check out our morning announcement broadcast system.
He let the students record him and he filmed a message encouraging all of our students to get involved in their local community.
The students that filmed him were given city of Fort Smith ambassador pins and named official ambassadors of the city!
