Arkansas Tech University issued the following announcement on Nov.21.
Arkansas Tech scored 14 of the final 17 points to come from behind and defeat Oklahoma Baptist in a five-set thriller in the Great American Conference Tournament championship volleyball match in Hot Springs this afternoon.
The Golden Suns are GAC Tournament champions in volleyball for a fifth time (2011, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2021) and they will appear in the NCAA Division II Tournament in volleyball for the sixth time (2000, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2021).
