Designer Barber & Stylist School enrolls 78 undergrads

At Designer Barber & Stylist School, 58 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 85 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in Ft Smith enrolled 78 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arkansas, and 3 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (35 percent) and Black or African American (29 percent).
