Rep. Steve Womack, who represents Arkansas’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on social media reflecting on leadership, service, and Labor Day.

On August 31, 2025, Womack shared a brief post: “WPS https://t.co/jj6NV38Yuj”.

The following day, September 1, 2025, he commended acts of courage and leadership: “Moments like this separate the wheat from the chaff. In a crisis, @GoArmyWestPoint Cadet Larry Pickett Jr. and his father answered the call with courage and selfless service. Their efforts embody the very best of the values and leadership instilled at @WestPoint_USMA, and I https://t.co/yqcrFKffWr”.

Later that same day, Womack recognized Labor Day by posting: “Today, we celebrate the American worker whose grit and determination make our country great. Whether you’re on the job or taking a well-earned break, I wish you and your family a safe and happy Labor Day. https://t.co/7ALXGysPPa”.

Womack has served as a member of Congress since 2011 after succeeding John Boozman. He was born in Russellville, Arkansas in 1957 and currently resides in Rogers. He is an alumnus of Arkansas Tech University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979.
