On October 10, he posted a message offering support to constituents directly affected by the situation: “Reminder that if you’re affected by the Democrat shutdown, don’t hesitate to reach out to my office. My team is here to assist and support you. Visit https://t.co/revj3JUv6J to learn more.”
Womack’s statements come as debates continue in Washington over federal funding measures. He has represented Arkansas’s 3rd District since replacing John Boozman in 2011 and was born in Russellville, Arkansas in 1957. Womack graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BA in 1979 and currently resides in Rogers.
