Rep. Steve Womack, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’ 3rd district since 2011, recently shared updates on his activities and engagements through a series of posts on X.

On August 29, 2025, Womack expressed appreciation for collaboration with federal partners by posting: “Grateful for such valuable partners as we tackle this critical issue together. Thank you @FLOTUS and @HUDgov for your advocacy and leadership.”

The following day, August 30, he highlighted his role as Chair of the West Point Board of Visitors in a meeting with cadets: “Yesterday, as Chair of the West Point Board of Visitors, I joined Vice Chair @RepPatRyanNY in speaking with cadets about leadership, politics in America today, and the importance of serving with courage, conviction, and character. These cadets are the next generation of military”.

Later that same day, Womack promoted an upcoming interview discussing his recent work: “Catch my interview with @4029news’ @YunaLeeTV tomorrow during On The Record where we dive into everything I’ve been working on across the incredible Third District and what’s ahead as Congress returns to Washington.”

Womack has represented Arkansas’s 3rd District since replacing John Boozman in 2011. He was born in Russellville, Arkansas in 1957 and currently resides in Rogers. Womack is also an alumnus of Arkansas Tech University, graduating with a BA in 1979.
