Rep. Steve Womack, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’s 3rd District since 2011, shared updates this week on social media about recent meetings and historical reflections.
On September 16, 2025, Womack posted about a meeting with local business leaders: “It was a pleasure meeting with members of the Springdale Chamber who were in town this week. We discussed my work as Chair of @HouseAppropsGOP THUD Subcommittee, and why it’s critical for Congress to pass the FY26 funding bills before the September 30 deadline.” In a follow-up post on the same day, he added: “We also discussed transportation and infrastructure needs, both in our community and across the country, and how we can leverage the private sector to build stronger roads, bridges, and more.”
The following day, September 17, Womack reflected on American history by marking Constitution Day: “237 years ago, 39 delegates signed the U.S. Constitution—a living blueprint for democracy that still evolves with us today.”
Womack has represented Arkansas’s 3rd district in Congress since succeeding John Boozman in 2011. Born in Russellville in 1957 and currently residing in Rogers, Womack graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BA in 1979.
