Rep. Steve Womack, who represents Arkansas’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted local achievements and business initiatives through a series of social media posts.
On September 24, 2025, Womack posted about a meeting with transportation leaders at Tyson Foods alongside Acting Administrator Sang Yi of the U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration (MARAD). He wrote, “.@DOTMARAD Acting Administrator Sang Yi and I sat down with transportation leadership team at Springdale-based @TysonFoods, who shared how they manage an international supply chain to meet global protein demand.”
The following day, on September 25, 2025, Womack congratulated the University of Arkansas for its recent recognition among public universities nationwide. In his post he stated, “Congratulations to @UArkansas for being recognized among the Top 100 public universities in the nation! The work of Chancellor Robinson, the faculty, and students have made this moment possible. #WPS

Later that same day, Womack visited Kiefer Sage—formerly known as Assembled Products Corporation—in Rogers. He commented on their manufacturing strategy: “I had the pleasure of visiting Kiefer Sage, formerly Assembled Products Corporation, when I was back in the Third District. This Rogers-based company is doubling down on its commitment to onshore U.S. manufacturing, helping businesses build their products right here at home. I’m”
Womack has represented Arkansas’s 3rd District since 2011 after succeeding John Boozman. He was born in Russellville in 1957 and currently resides in Rogers. A graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a BA earned in 1979, Womack frequently highlights regional industry and educational accomplishments as part of his congressional activities.
