Rep. Steve Womack, who represents Arkansas’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative efforts focused on tax policy and national security.
On September 3, 2025, Womack wrote, “You earned your tips, and now with @HouseGOP’s Working Families Tax Cut, you can keep ‘em. Check out this list of 68 jobs eligible for our ‘no tax on tips’ policy: https://t.co/z25oSfjOOu”. The post refers to a House GOP initiative aimed at exempting tip income from taxation for certain occupations.
In another statement posted on September 4, 2025, Womack announced his vote on appropriations legislation: “I just voted to advance @HouseAppropsGOP’s FY26 FSGG bill to strengthen our country’s financial system, combat the flow of drugs, protect national security, and more. Taxpayer dollars should empower and benefit Americans, not foreign adversaries. As a former Chair of this”.
Later that same day, Womack commented on energy policy: “Energy security is national security. Read my full statement on why passing this bill is a win for America.
