Rep. Steve Womack, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’s 3rd district since 2011, posted a series of updates on social media addressing local initiatives, tax policy impacts, and Holocaust Remembrance Day.
On April 13, 2026, Womack shared his participation in a community event: “I had the pleasure of participating in the groundbreaking of the NWA Humane Society’s future spay‑neuter clinic in Rogers. As Clay Morgan, the organization’s executive director, noted, it’s a lot easier to spay one dog than to find homes for thirty puppies. I look forward to https://t.co/6mKSk5CCnY”.
Later that day, he highlighted the effects of recent tax legislation: “I’m incredibly proud that my constituent Sharon was able to benefit from the No Tax on Tips policy I helped pass last year. This is what it’s all about—making sure hardworking people like Sharon keep more of the money they earn so they can better support their families. https://t.co/oCMu1TJ0SA”.
On April 14, 2026, Womack marked Holocaust Remembrance Day with a message honoring victims and condemning antisemitism: “On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, we solemnly honor the six million Jewish people and other innocent lives taken by the Nazis. We promise to never forget and to never let such an atrocity happen again. It is our responsibility to stand up against antisemitism and stop it https://t.co/ddpiCU3Qyr”.
Womack has represented Arkansas’s 3rd District in Congress since replacing John Boozman in 2011 and resides in Rogers after being born in Russellville in 1957. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979.
