Rep. Steve Womack, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’ 3rd district since 2011, recently highlighted legislative priorities and community engagement in a series of posts on August 26, 2025.

In one post from the morning of August 26, Womack addressed his long-standing advocacy for protecting the American flag: “President Trump is making it clear: desecrating the American flag won’t be tolerated in this country. I’ve championed legislation for years to protect our most sacred symbol, and thanks to @POTUS we can restore respect and sanctity to the flag.” (August 26, 2025).

Later that day, Womack discussed his participation at an economic development event: “Yesterday, I welcomed chamber of commerce executives, municipal economic development managers, and other leaders driving growth across the state to the Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives Annual Conference. The Third District is a hub for economic leadership, so” (August 26, 2025).

In another post on August 26, he noted a meeting with local healthcare professionals: “It was great to meet with Dr. Brooke Bisbee, owner of Family Foot Health Center in Rogers and president of the @APMA, along with her team yesterday. The Third District continues to be home to some of the best and brightest in healthcare and beyond.” (August 26, 2025).

Womack’s remarks come as he continues his tenure as representative for Arkansas’s Third District—a position he has held since succeeding John Boozman in 2011. Born in Russellville in 1957 and currently residing in Rogers, Womack graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979.
