Rep. Steve Womack, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’s 3rd district since 2011, highlighted recent developments and priorities in his district through a series of posts on August 21, 2025.

In a post at 13:44 UTC, Womack wrote, “ICYMI, my latest op-ed in Talk Business highlights the $108+ million in Community Project Funding I secured for 15 projects across Arkansas’s Third District. The unprecedented growth in NWA brings tremendous economic potential, but to fully realize it, we must prioritize our”.

Later that day at 16:33 UTC, he addressed military funding following his participation at an industry event: “At the Mid-America Aerospace & Defense Summit, I spoke with industry leaders about the importance of robust military funding to ensure the U.S. can deter emerging threats and win future conflicts. That’s exactly what @HouseAppropsGOP prioritized in the FY26 Defense Bill, and I’m”.

Womack also visited local infrastructure improvements on August 21. At 17:53 UTC he posted, “I toured the ongoing construction of the new Bella Vista City Hall, along with the latest additions to the fire department. It’s great to see these upgrades moving forward to better serve city residents.”

Womack has served as representative for Arkansas’s 3rd District since replacing John Boozman in 2011. Born in Russellville in 1957 and currently residing in Rogers, Womack graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BA in 1979.
