Rep. Bruce Westerman, who represents Arkansas’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted the region’s role in national defense and marked his birthday through a series of social media posts this week.
On November 18, 2025, Westerman’s team posted a message acknowledging his leadership: “Team Westerman Takeover: Happy birthday, Congressman Westerman! The following day, on November 19, 2025, Westerman emphasized the contributions of local workers to national security: “The hardworking men and women of the Fourth District are integral contributors to our national defense. Bruce Westerman has served in Congress since 2015 after succeeding Tom Cotton. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015. Born in Hot Springs in 1967, Westerman continues to reside there today and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990.
