Rep. Bruce Westerman, who represents Arkansas’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform this week to share updates on legislative activity and meetings with key stakeholders.
On September 9, 2025, Westerman posted a brief announcement: “Tune in tomorrow! https://t.co/QhUaKzWJsM”. Later that same day, he commented on a meeting with agricultural representatives: “Extraordinarily grateful to meet with the National Farmers Union to discuss the crisis our state’s farmers are facing. Food security is national security, and the farmers and ranchers across AR-04 and Arkansas are pivotal in providing that security. That is why I was proud to https://t.co/dAz2szR4ZA”.
The following day, September 10, Westerman referenced ongoing legislative work: “Tune in now as we hold a hearing for the SPEED Act, a bill I recently introduced to address permitting reform. https://t.co/3suFiahZgF”.
Bruce Westerman has served as the U.S. Representative for Arkansas’s 4th District since 2015 after succeeding Tom Cotton. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015. Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1967 and currently residing there at age 55, Westerman graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990.
