In the week ending Jan. 10, one gas station in Logan County sold diesel gas at the lowest reported price of $3.09 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, diesel gas averaged $3.17 per gallon.
Among 21 gas stations in cities within Logan County, two offered diesel gas.
Across Arkansas, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas fell to $3.17, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
