IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH – FORT SMITH: You are invited to our traditional Posadas

0Comments

From December 16th-23rd at 6:30 pm in the Chapel, come and live an ancient Christmas tradition with family and friends. Posadas provide us a way to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ with prayer and joy in our hearts and to remember what Mary and Joseph went through before the birth of Jesus. At the Posadas we pray the Rosary, sing the litanies, and commemorate Mary and Joseph’s pilgrimage in Bethlehem. At the end of the posada, we break piñatas and the distribution of the ‘aguinaldos’ (party favors, normally candy). We will have our Parish Posada on Sunday December 18th at 3:00 pm in the Parish Center. Everybody is welcome!
