Immaculate Conception Church – Fort Smith issued the following announcement on Feb. 13.

On Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the 10:00 A.M. Mass and the 2:00 P.M. Mass we mark another important turning point in the faith journey of our catechumens and candidates for initiation. In the Rite of Sending our church affirms the decision of these people to begin their final preparation for receiving the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to open their hearts to the Lord.
