Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Mar. 4.

Fort Smith Virtual Academy (FSVA), a K-8 Conversion Charter School, will open enrollment for the 2022-23 school year on Monday, March 7, 2022 through April 1, 2022. The FSVA is designed to provide an equitable, challenging, individualized, technology-based educational experience to equip students with the academic and social skills to embrace their roles in our culturally diverse community and rapidly changing world. The educational process will empower future-focused individuals to engage in
service-oriented experiences, develop personal reflection skills and discover meaningful career paths.

Individualized instruction

Career focus and exploration

Community involvement

Internships and guest speakers

K-8 students interested in enrolling in the FSVA must complete the application during the enrollment window, March 7 through April 1, 2022. The application link is: https://bit.ly/FSVirtual22-23

Enrollment is limited. Completing the form does not guarantee admission to the FSVA. Applications will be reviewed and assessed according to the criteria specified in the application and the number of slots available.
