City of Van Buren issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.

Inclement Weather closing

Inclement Weather Closing- due to inclement weather the City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities will be closed on Thursday February 3rd and Friday February 4th. For emergencies call 479-474-5067 and leave a message, a VBMU Team member will respond. Residential Sanitation and Recycling Collection services provided by Waste Management of Arkansas have been canceled for Thursday and Friday- and will be collected next Thursday and Friday.
