City of Van Buren issued the following announcement on June 1.

As of March 1, 2022, Van Buren Code Enforcement/Animal Control has become its own department and is no longer a division of the police department. We are excited to introduce our new Code Enforcement/Animal Control team (“The Fab 4”): Head of Department, Steve Gunter, Administrative Assistant, Kristi Mattke, Officer Adam Mask, and Officer Brian Watteau. “We strive to make our great city even better by serving the public to the best of our ability.”-Steve Gunter. For all Code Enforcement/Animal Control questions, comments, complaints, or even compliments, please visit the office on Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, located at 1003 Broadway or you can contact the office directly at 479-689-0075.
