Rep. Bruce Westerman, a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’s 4th district since 2015, recently posted a series of messages on his official social media account, highlighting community engagement and commemorative events.

On September 18, 2025, Westerman welcomed visitors to Washington D.C., stating: “Great to have you all visit our nation’s capital!”

The following day, he recognized a milestone for a local healthcare provider in his district. On September 19, 2025, he wrote: “This week, Saint Mary’s Regional Health System celebrated an exciting milestone! I am grateful for their 100 years of service and dedication to providing quality healthcare to Russellville and the surrounding rural communities. Here’s to the next 100 years!”

Later that same day, Westerman marked National POW/MIA Recognition Day with a message honoring military service members who were prisoners of war or missing in action: “‘You are not forgotten.’ On this day, we solemnly remember our brave members of the armed forces who were prisoners of war or missing in action, never to return home. May their courage and sacrifice be a lasting reminder that freedom is never free.”

Westerman has served as the representative for Arkansas’s 4th District since succeeding Tom Cotton in Congress in 2015. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 2011 through 2015. Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1967 and currently residing there at age 55, Westerman graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990.
